Despite being in the NFL since 1930 (originally as the Portsmouth Spartans) the Detroit Lions have never made it to the Superbowl. Three AFC teams have also never had an appearance, the Texans, Jaguars and Browns.
Drop kicks are legal, although extremely rare, Doug Flutie converted the only successful drop kick in the NFL since 1941 when he scored one for the Patriots in 2006.

Joining the NFL in 1960 the New England Patriots have played 54 Playoff games up to 2018 and have a .630 record with 54 games played and 34 won. From AFC East Buffalo Bills have the worst record in the Playoffs. The Ravens have the best Playoff record overall.
